3. Not professional advice

Brickplot scores, verdicts, hard caps, and editorial content are informational research tools. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. A builder's past record does not predict what happens after you sign. Public records published by RERA, sub-registrars, BBMP, and other authorities can change after our data refresh.

Before any irreversible commitment — booking, signing a sale agreement, taking a loan — independently verify documents with the issuing authorities and get independent advice from an advocate, chartered accountant, and banker.

4. Use of content

You may read, share links to, and quote limited excerpts from Brickplot content for personal, non-commercial use, with attribution.

You may not reproduce Brickplot scores, rubrics, or data in bulk, sell or sublicense Brickplot content, or use automated scraping to harvest data without prior written permission from editorial@brickplot.com.

Builders, developers, brokers, and their agents may not use Brickplot scores, verdicts, or logos in any advertising or marketing material without prior written consent. Unauthorised use of the Brickplot name or scoring in promotional collateral will be treated as trademark infringement.

5. Paid services — consult SKUs

Paid services on /consult are governed by the separate Consult Terms, which include delivery SLAs, refund policy, and quality assurance commitments under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 + E-Commerce Rules 2020. By purchasing a consult SKU you also agree to those terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Brickplot name, logo, Brickplot 11-axis scoring formula, Legal Risk Grade rubric, hard caps, and all original editorial content are the intellectual property of Brickplot Editorial. All rights reserved.

Builder names, project names, builder logos, and architect renders that appear on brickplot.com are used under the doctrine of nominative fair use (Trade Marks Act 1999 §§30(1)–(2)) and fair dealing for the purpose of criticism and review (Copyright Act 1957 §52(1)(a)(ii)). No endorsement of Brickplot by any named builder is implied; no endorsement by Brickplot of any named builder is implied.

7. User-submitted content

If you submit a buyer interview, comment, correction, or any other content to Brickplot, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish that content in connection with brickplot.com editorial. We will anonymise on request and remove on verified grievance. Brickplot acts as an intermediary for user-submitted content under Section 79 of the IT Act 2000. Our grievance officer route is at /grievance.

8. Accuracy and corrections

Brickplot makes reasonable efforts to ensure that scores, verdicts, and factual claims are based on accurate, up-to-date public-record data. Data from state RERA portals, sub-registrar offices, and municipal authorities may lag by 30–90 days from the source filing. We do not warrant that scores are free of errors.

If you believe content contains a material error, please email corrections@brickplot.com with verifiable evidence. We acknowledge within 24 hours, fact-check within 48 hours, and correct verified errors within 24 hours of verification. Every correction appears in our public correction log.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brickplot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary loss arising from reliance on scores, data, or content published on this site. Direct liability arising from a paid consult SKU is limited to the amount paid for that SKU.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Brickplot, its officers, employees, and contractors harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your use of brickplot.com, or any content you submit.

11. Termination

Brickplot may suspend or terminate access for any user found to be using the site in breach of these Terms, applicable law, or in any manner that disrupts the service or other users.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Consumer disputes arising from paid SKUs may, at the buyer's election, be brought before the appropriate District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
