Consult Terms

Consumer Protection Act 2019 + E-Commerce Rules 2020 compliant · Last updated: 2026-05-26

Plain English summary

You pay us. We deliver the SKU described on the consult page within the published SLA. If we miss the SLA or deliver something inaccurate to the public source record, you get a refund. We do not warrant the underlying accuracy of records issued by RERA / sub-registrar / BBMP — their accuracy is the issuing authority's responsibility. Disputes go through our grievance officer first; if unresolved, to the consumer forum or civil court of appropriate jurisdiction.

1. The service

Each Brickplot consult SKU delivers the artefacts listed on its own page on /consult. SKUs include but are not limited to: free Snapshot PDF, Verdict Pack (₹999), Verified Documents (₹4,999), Concierge (₹9,999), and Site Visit Companion (₹5,000). Inclusions, delivery format, and SLA are explicit on each SKU page. By purchasing a SKU you agree these terms apply to that purchase.

2. Delivery SLA

If we miss the published SLA for reasons within our control, the buyer is entitled to a full refund on request, or to a credit applied to a future Brickplot SKU.

3. Quality assurance

Every verified document we deliver under Tier 4 and Tier 5 is cross-checked against the issuing authority's online record (K-RERA, Kaveri 2.0, BBMP eAasthi, eCourts, NCLT) before delivery. If a Brickplot-delivered document does not match the public-record source, we re-issue at no charge and add the discrepancy to our public correction log.

4. Refund policy

5. What we do not warrant

Brickplot delivers verified copies and analyst interpretations of records issued by government authorities. We do not warrant:

Our analyst interpretations are opinion grounded in disclosed facts. They are not legal, financial, or investment advice. Buyers should independently verify all material facts and consult appropriate professionals (advocate, chartered accountant, banker) before any irreversible commitment.

6. Dispute resolution

Step 1 — Email grievance@brickplot.com or use the form on /grievance. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. Most issues end here.

Step 2 — If unresolved, the buyer may escalate to the appropriate District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, or to civil court of competent jurisdiction. The exclusive jurisdiction for any non-consumer-court dispute is the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

7. Privacy & data handling

Personal data submitted during purchase or delivery is handled per our privacy policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We do not share buyer details with any builder or third party except as required by law or explicitly authorised by the buyer.

8. Entity & statutory disclosures

Brickplot is operated by Brickplot Editorial, registered in India. Legal entity name, PAN, GSTIN, and India address are listed at /about-us. E-Commerce Rules 2020 Rule 5 disclosures: contact details published; complaint mechanism via /grievance; no sponsored listings or paid placement on any Brickplot page (see /coi).

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Substantive changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date and, where relevant, emailed to buyers with an active consult order.
