Conflict-of-Interest Declaration

Brickplot does not accept payment from builders, developers, or their agents — not as advertising, sponsorship, lead-generation commission, referral fee, or any other form.

Where the money comes from

Every rupee Brickplot earns comes from readers buying paid services on /consult — verified document delivery, expert calls, negotiation briefs, and tier-specific deliverables priced at ₹0 to ₹9,999. We publish every SKU price. We publish every refund policy. There is no hidden fee.

We do not take:

Why this matters for your score

Because no builder ever pays us, we have no commercial reason to soften a score, hide a hard cap, or promote a project over a competitor. Our 11-axis rubric and 13 hard caps are mechanical — they apply the same way to every project regardless of which builder filed it. When a project triggers a hard cap (NCLT exposure, RERA invalid, construction stalled), we say so on the public page. No builder has any leverage to make us not say so.

The broker-rebate difference

Some Indian real-estate platforms earn revenue from builder commissions and rebate part of it to the buyer as "cashback" or "loyalty reward". That model is legal and common. It also means the platform and the builder share a financial interest in closing the deal. Brickplot is paid by readers, not by builders. Why we charge you →

Recusal rule

No Brickplot reviewer, analyst, or editor may write or score a project in which they (or their immediate family) have a personal financial interest — owning, selling, or having entered an agreement to buy a unit in that project, or having an undisclosed relationship with the builder. Any such interest must be declared before publication, and the reviewer steps away from that page.

Third-party links

Any non-builder relationships that affect a specific page (referral to a lender, insurer, or service provider) are disclosed inline on that page. We do not embed undisclosed affiliate links.
