Frequently Asked Questions
What if Brickplot recommends a project and later drops its score?
If our score on a project we recommended to you drops materially within 24 months of your call, we issue a full refund of the consultation fee. No questions. No prorating.
Do you do site visits?
No. Site visits create a bias toward shortlist-completion — the thing that quietly turns advisory firms into lead-gen for builders. We do on-site visits only for the reviews we publish, not per paying client.
Will a builder try to reach me after I book?
No. Brickplot has no relationship with any builder. Your details are not shared with anyone. We are not a lead-gen service.
I'm an NRI. Can you handle my timezone?
Yes. Starter and Standard calls are scheduled 7am–11pm IST; Premium includes US/UK/UAE/Singapore-friendly windows. The written report is delivered regardless of call timing.
Can I pay in a foreign currency?
No. All invoices are in INR with 18% GST. Pay via international card or NEFT/RTGS from any NRE/NRO account.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, up to 24 hours before your slot. Within 24 hours, rescheduling is subject to analyst availability and may be treated as a missed call.
What's the refund policy?
Full refund if you cancel ≥24 hours before the call. 50% if <24 hours. Zero refund once the report is delivered.
Can I get investment advice or tax advice?
No. We give property-specific analysis. For investment planning or specific tax advice, consult a SEBI-registered advisor or CA.
Do you recommend specific builders?
We give you our score. Whether a builder is "good" is whether their projects score well. We don't carry a blanket builder endorsement.
Can I bring my spouse/parents to the call?
Yes, as long as the total participant count is within tier limits (Starter: 2; Standard: 3; Premium: 5).
Can you talk to my banker / lawyer / CA?
Premium tier includes 2 follow-up email rounds which can loop in your advisor. No direct analyst-to-advisor calls in any tier.
Do you have conflicts of interest?
Brickplot does not accept referral fees, commissions, sponsorships, or any form of compensation from builders, brokers, or developers. Your consultation fee is our only revenue from this service.
What if my shortlist has a project Brickplot hasn't reviewed?
We'll do a first-pass quick-look on any project you bring, but only scored projects get the full 6-axis treatment. If your top pick is unscored, Standard+ includes a rapid desktop scoring in the written report.
Can I get the analyst's notes / raw data?
The written report is your deliverable. Raw spreadsheet-level data is not shared per tier.
How do I know if this is for me?
If you're about to pay ₹25 lakh+ into a property and nobody editorial has told you whether it's a good one yet — yes.
