About Brickplot
India's independent verdict portal for residential real estate.
What we do
Brickplot rates Indian residential real estate projects using an 11-axis mechanical formula — legal title cleanliness, RERA disclosure quality, builder financial health, verified buyer sentiment, bank loan approval depth, location and infrastructure, value trajectory, construction risk, governance quality, liveability, and yield/ROI.
Every project gets a Brickplot Score between 0 and 10. Hard caps apply automatically — a project with no valid RERA registration cannot score above 4.9, regardless of what the other axes say. The formula is public. The rubric is published. There is no editorial override.
Why we exist
The Indian real estate market has a structural trust problem. Portals earn commissions from the builders they list. Reviews can be bought. Regulatory filings are public but scattered across six state RERA portals, NCLT records, MCA-21 filings, and sub-registrar transaction data — data that no buyer has time to aggregate.
Brickplot does the aggregation for you. We accept ₹0 from builders. Every score is computed from public records. If we can't source the data, we don't publish the score.
