Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using brickplot.com (“Platform,” “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Brickplot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
2. Disclaimer & Editorial Nature
2.1 Nature of content
Brickplot provides independent property analysis and reviews based on publicly available data (RERA filings, builder announcements, on-site fieldwork, verified buyer feedback). We are not a licensed real estate broker, consultant, or financial advisor. Nothing on Brickplot constitutes legal advice, financial advice, investment recommendations, brokerage, or guaranteed returns.
2.2 Methodology caveats
Reviews rely on RERA data (may be incomplete or outdated), single-point-in-time inspections, sample buyer feedback, historical prices, and builder information subject to change. We do not audit builder financials, verify every marketing claim, predict market cycles, guarantee handover timelines, or assume responsibility for builder bankruptcy or project abandonment.
2.3 Reliance at own risk
You rely on Brickplot reviews at your own discretion. We strongly recommend engaging a qualified real estate advocate, obtaining independent inspections, verifying all claims directly with builders and RERA, and consulting a financial advisor before large investments. Investment decisions are yours alone.
3. Editorial Independence
3.1 What we guarantee
- No review is influenced by builder payments, sponsorships, or advertising
- No “featured listings” or paid placements
- No consulting for builders or financial arrangements that would compromise reviews
- Verdicts (Buy Now / Wait / Avoid) are determined by data, not commercial relationships
3.2 Builder responses
If a builder or agent disputes a review, we will publish their rebuttal in the review comments section, labeled “Builder Response.” We will not remove the original review under builder pressure.
3.3 Conflicts of interest
Brickplot is owned by Webfluence Marketing Solutions. Webfluence does not provide marketing or brokerage services to real estate builders, does not develop properties, and does not earn commissions on Brickplot-driven sales.
4. RERA Compliance & Disclosures
All projects reviewed on Brickplot are expected to be registered with the appropriate RERA authority. However: we do not verify RERA registration in real time — data may be outdated. Buyers must independently verify RERA status on official state portals. See our RERA Disclosures page for per-project registration numbers and direct links to state RERA portals.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 License grant
By submitting reviews, ratings, comments, or photos, you grant Brickplot a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, archive, index, and aggregate your content (anonymized where appropriate). You remain the copyright holder.
5.2 Moderation
We may remove content that is spam, harassment, misinformation, profanity, infringing, or defamatory. We will not remove content merely because it is negative — honest criticism is encouraged.
5.3 Prohibited content
- Defamatory, libelous, or false statements intended to damage reputation
- Harassment, threats, abusive language, hate speech
- Spam, promotional content, competitor links
- PII of others without consent
- Copyrighted material without permission
- Illegal content
5.4 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for content you submit and warrant it is original, truthful, lawful, and respects the consent of any individuals mentioned.
6. Intellectual Property
All content created by Brickplot (reviews, methodology, analysis, code) is owned by Brickplot and protected by copyright and trademark law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to view reviews for personal non-commercial use and share links. You may not reproduce reviews in bulk, redistribute databases, scrape the Platform, create derivative works, or remove attribution.
7. Limitation of Liability
Brickplot is provided “AS IS” without warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Brickplot’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for access (if applicable). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; loss of data; property loss; or damages from reliance on reviews.
You agree to indemnify Brickplot against claims arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your user-generated content, or your reliance on reviews for investment decisions.
8. Links to Third-Party Sites
Brickplot contains links to RERA portals, builder websites, and municipal records. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, functionality, or privacy practices. Review their terms before submitting data.
9. Prohibited Uses
- Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction
- Interfering with Platform functionality or security
- Attempting unauthorized access
- Transmitting viruses or malware
- Impersonation or misrepresentation
- Illegal use or violation of applicable laws
Violation may result in termination and legal action.
10. Service Availability & Maintenance
We make no guarantee of continuous availability or error-free operation. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform and notify users of planned downtime.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction. Before litigation, parties agree to good-faith negotiation and, where appropriate, mediation.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms, prohibited behavior, harm to the Platform or other users, or false information. Users may stop using the Platform at any time; Sections on IP and Liability survive termination.
13. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
